TACIP® from CASSIDIAN is a highly scalable tactical IP infrastructure. TACIP® consists of a set of supporting modular components, designed to provide coherent and planned end-to-end IP-based Information and Communication Technology (ICT) across a range of fixed, quasi-static, deployable and tactical environments, in support of government, defence and mission-critical business operations.

TACIP® is a modular, tactical capability able to support from 5 to 250 users without the need for re-engineering or expert technical support.
The TACIP® solution is based on industry standard, commercially available equipment, ruggedized by Cassidian to produce a cost-effective solution able to withstand the most unforgiving environments.
TACIP® provides a secure overlay that gives a substantial capability based on the latest security standards. TACIP® has the ability to rapidly deploy an interim capability of standard compliant data, voice and video services using a single C-130 aircraft, or civilian equivalent, payload. The system can provide minimum services that are operational in less than 12 hours, with full operational capability within 24 hours of delivery of all system components.
Extensive user and administrator training are available including courses at Cassidian Customer training schools, barracks and on-the-job training packages. Cassidian is also able to offer in-theatre simulation training, ensuring operational personnel are fully competent with the system before it is deployed. The solution has also been designed so that significant system management can be achieved remotely. Alternatively, TACIP® can also be provided as a Managed Service where the whole network can be managed and monitored remotely from the Cassidian ESOC 24/7.
