Harfang identifies tracks and designates with laser tracks thanks to high performance Electro-Optic/ Infra-Red capability system.
Deployed in Bagram Afghanistan by the French Air Force, Harfang is fully integrated in the overall C4I architecture. It may be operated in a fully autonomous mode as well.
Harfang (French contract SIDM) is a fully automatic Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAS dedicated to all-weather intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance at long distances from the operating Air Base.
Its radar chain provides high resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery and Mobile Target Indication (MTI).
