AMS is the EADS Corporate development programme to enhance Sales & Marketing know-how combined with further learning of management and leadership competencies.

STRUCTURE

The 24-month AMS Programme is based on three to four individually tailored project assignments in different Business Units and/or HQ functions of the EADS Group. The programme gives talents the opportunity to further broaden their sales and marketing expertise and develop their leadership and business skills. As a participant in the AMS Programme, you will have the chance to work in close cooperation with EADS International and Business Units on actual marketing and sales campaigns.
Off-the-job modules are designed to strengthen participants' personal, management and leadership competencies.
During the entire AMS Programme, participants are accompanied by a personal mentor, who provides them with guidance and support.
After the programme, participants are well-prepared to be engaged in managerial responsibilities with challenging tasks in the field of Marketing & Sales.

CANDIDATE'S PROFILE

The AMS programme aims to accelerate your climb within the Group and will give you vital insights into the world of EADS. Besides sharpening your managerial skills, you will have the opportunity to explore your own abilities.

Candidates should:

• have true sales drive with a passion for the aerospace and defence industry;
• have minimum four years of relevant work experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and/or Strategy functions;
• have an excellent academic background in business administration or engineering, and a solid performance track record;
• have an excellent command of the English language;
• master at least another EADS language, i.e. German, French or Spanish;
• be proficient in analytical thinking and planning and have solid organisational abilities;
• be interested in EADS' activities, namely the aeronautics, defence and space industries;
• be internationally mobile;
• have already studied or worked outside their home country, for at least one year.

International projects are one of the main emphases of the programme and may involve up to four assignments abroad.

How does the application process work?

The process of joining the AMS Programme takes several weeks. If you meet the AMS requirements, you will be invited to enter in the selection process. The last step of the selection process is a Selection Day.

Which are the official EADS languages?

Our official working language is English. However, having Divisions and Business Units located mainly in Germany, France, Spain and the UK, German, French and Spanish are also considered as EADS languages.

What happens after my AMS participation?

After the programme, participants are well-prepared to be engaged in managerial responsibilities with challenging tasks in the field of Marketing & Sales.
