ALTAS-2QB (Advanced Laser Threat Alerting System - 2 Quadrants with Beamrider Detector) is a passive system designed to detect, track and warn of hostile laser sources aiming at the airborne platform. ALTAS-2QB detects all laser range finders, laser target designators and solid state beamrider sources. The system delivers all parameters required to initiate relevant countermeasures.
